Pourquoi faire appel à mes services d’accompagnement postnatal ?

  • Having an additional support person, alongside your partner, to help ease the overwhelming mental burden of managing the home and preparing meals after a new baby arrives:

    • With a clear mind, you get to have quality rest and sleep, which helps your body recuperate after exerting all your energy and force during birth and labor, or after a C-section.

    • You’ll be more resilient in handling the first 6 weeks after giving birth when the baby does not yet have a day-night sleep rhythm

    • You get to spend quality time with yourself, your partner, and your other children if you have.

    • You get to eat regularly varied and nutrient-dense meals daily to help replenish electrolytes and minerals lost during birth, while also boosting your body with fats, proteins, carbohydrates, and vitamins necessary to support healing.

    • You get to stay in a clean and organized home, which supports mental health and reduces stress.

    • You get to spend quality time with your baby by observing him/her, which leads to a better understanding of their cries, rhythms, and development, fostering mutual understanding.

    • Being able to breastfeed in peace and be present in the moment leads to bonding. Breastfeeding has been proven to facilitate the release of oxytocin, the 'love hormone,' which is important for bonding and attachment.

    • You’ll be put in contact with professionals such as doulas and midwives who can support you prepare for the ideal with you’ve always dreamed of and who can also help you in your healing journey after giving birth.

With all this these benefits, this makes your more resilient to the onset of baby blues and post partum depression

  • Having someone to talk to who provides non-judgemental Having someone to talk to—who offers non-judgmental, empathetic listening and understanding—can help navigate the range of emotions and mental overload that often follow birth

This is especially important for women who have experienced a traumatic birth and/or do not understand or speak the native language - pent-up, unexpressed negative emotions that could negatively impact mental health.

Expressing all emotions especially negative ones fosters a greater connection to yourself and others which all leads to inner peace.

  • From understanding the different cries of babies, to knowing how to identify the different developmental milestones of children between 0 to 6 years.

This information provides us with the clarity necessary to better respond to their different needs, thereby reducing the stress of being in the mysterious abyss of the unknown.

  • Being surrounded by professionals who provide quality information about breastfeeding before birth—along with having friends and family who support your decision—can have a major impact on the success or failure of your breastfeeding journey.

Moreover, most hospitals follow intervention-based policies that can hinder the successful initiation of breastfeeding.

Not being well informed and not having the right support often leads to many problems such as sore nipples, nipple trauma, painful breast engorgement, low milk supply, and even conditions like mastitis (a blocked milk duct).

Therefore, being well informed before giving birth could prevent many of these problems by anticipating what steps to take to be on the successful path of a pain-free trouble free journey.

  • Having another person there to support the father in supporting his partner while she is recovering after giving birth can be huge relief for him since he has to take care of everything else : the house chores; laundry; administrative matters caring for the other children provides and potentially having to go back to work.

Having the relief of the mental load of having to taking can help help maintain a healthy mental and physical well being thereby fostering a beautiful bond between mother, father and baby.

Because you deserve to be supported and empowered in the amazing, noble task you do: giving life and raising another human being.

Everything We Do With the Child Is “Education”
— Dr. Silvana Quattrocchi Montanaro, MD

La fondatrice de Parents Épanouis, Samira LORNE

Hello dear (future) parent! it is a sincere pleasure to meet you 😊!

My name is Samira Lorne, a bilingual scientific Montessori educator, and the founder of Parents Épanouis.

I am based in the region of Les Yvelines (78) which is located in the South West of Paris.

As we get to know each other, I look forward to supporting you throughout your postpartum and parenthood journey with care, empathy, and understanding.

  • After seven years of working with over 120 children—ranging from newborns to six-year-olds—in Montessori schools, crèches (daycare centers), and the private homes of more than a dozen families (representing over 25 parents), I decided to step away from my role as an educator to fully dedicate myself to supporting parents.

    Why?
Because while pediatricians and general practitioners may view some parental questions as mundane or trivial—like How can I get my toddler to eat vegetables without a tantrum every time?”—I take these questions very seriously.

To me, they are far from silly. In fact, they often hold deep significance, with the potential to shape a child’s emotional and developmental journey into adulthood

  • From my experience working with families, I’ve found that the most effective way to support parents is directly in their homes—helping them handle real-life challenges with their babies and young children.

This includes practical support like meal planning, establishing routines and boundaries, maintaining a calm and organized environment, and managing common struggles during nappy changes, mealtimes, and bedtime.

Because everything we do with a child is, in essence, education, I take parents’ questions about their children seriously.

I aim to provide clear, objective, and factual answers to help guide them toward choices that are truly in their child’s best interest.

I believe that parents are their children's first and most important educators. Through everyday interactions, they pass on language, values, culture, and emotional patterns—shaping their child’s development in profound ways.

That’s why, as a Montessori educator, I prefer to empower parents with tools, knowledge, and guidance so they can confidently “educate” their own children and fully experience the rewards of their efforts.

  • After working with so many children, I can truly say that they are a blessing that nature has bestowed upon us and we must seize every opportunity appreciate everything that they are trying to teach us about life – and I mean this with all my heart.

When we take the time to understand their needs, misbehavior and tantrums are no longer mysteries.

Instead, they become like a 12-piece jigsaw puzzle—something that simply needs to be gently pieced together.

With time and patience, we start to see the bigger picture of why children behave the way they do and how best to support them.

  • Being a Cell and Molecular scientist, the discipline of medicine has always interested me. But I really love all that is to do with birth and childcare

So, I put aside the pursuit of a medical career to become a Montessori teacher because many pillars of the Montessori pedagogy are very similar to those of natural medicine: observing the revelations of nature without any interventions and consequently preparing an environment that fosters these revelations.

Having received my training from AMI and MCI, both in London, in addition to my experiences with children, it is my pleasure to share all of this knowledge and experience with you, the parents.

If we study the child better than we have done hitherto, we discover love in all its aspects....this love, which is the gift of every tiny child who is brought into our midst - if this were realized in its potentialities, or if the fullness of its values were developed, our achievements, already so vast, would become immeasurable.

Grown-ups and children must join their forces. In order to become great, the grown-up must become humble and learn from the child.”
